St. Ives Meet 5/29

Good morning everyone!

We are getting so excited for our first meet of the season tomorrow! Please plan to arrive between 4:30pm-4:45pm. The address is 1 St Ives Country Club Dr, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Please use the St Ives Club entrance (directly across from the Egg Harbor Restaurant) on Medlock Bridge/141 heading south towards State Bridge Rd. There is no security at this entrance. After you enter the gates, the pool parking lot is the second turn on the left. Overflow parking will be on the street near the upper clay tennis courts which is located above the pool/tennis parking lot. There are stairs that lead from the street down to the pool/tennis parking lot.

Some information for the meet:

  • The Visiting Team bullpen is reserved under the pavilion closest to the playground. In addition, we can use the grassy space behind the pavilion and playground.
  • The Sport Court is strictly off limits and not to be used during swim meets.
  • We will have a 5:15pm meeting for all volunteers with the ASA Official.
  • If you are a second shift volunteer please be ready to switch right after event 40.
  • They will be selling Snoblasts (individually packaged snow cones) from Bahama Bucks for a team fundraiser - cash and/or Venmo – they are $5 each.
  • NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS ARE PERMITTED. ST IVES COUNTRY CLUB WILL STRONGLY ENFORCE THIS RULE.
    • Thursday’s buffet menu and prices
      • Hot dogs, chicken tenders, burgers, potato chips, watermelon, baked beans, macaroni & cheese.
      • Adults $18.95, Kids 5-11 $9.95, kids 4 & under eat free
  • Our theme for the meet is Blue Out so please wear your BLUE!!
  • We will send out heat sheets once they are available (hopefully tonight but if not tomorrow)
  • Please make sure to stay until your events are done
  • If it storms, please do not leave the meet until a coach or board member has instructed you to do so.
  • Please make sure your name is in your team shirts in case it gets misplaced.
